Default Foxtel Download

How sweet is this going to be!

http://www.foxtel.com.au/discover/download/default.htm

I give it a week before somebody works out how to pull the source out of foxtels player and then Australia should become the new piracy capital of the world for The Pirate Bay and Mininova etc..

You'd be suprised how many of the tv shows out there come from a foxtel broadcast.

But anyways... I'm looking forward to Nov 15 when the new channels come on. More HD!

Oh rly!

I didn't know.

I am definitely looking forward to the new normal poverty pack definition channels coming up. I can't believe out of 150 channels, I can't find stuff to watch sometimes.

Had Foxtel for donkies years before waking up to myself. Free to air TV has show that are more inline with current seasons. That's why I download all my programming. Get all the best shows hot off the reel.

I had foxtel at my parents house since it came out and when I moved out had to do without it for the last 3 years.
I downloaded all my shows which was great but to tell you the truth there is nothing better than chilling out and flicking on say discovery channel and they have the latest biker build off on Its the shows I'd never THINK to download that I love!

You have to use their player so its going to be drm'd to hell and back.
Probably locked to one computer, no transferring easily, might even need to be online to press play... pita.

foxtel is a massive rip off, 99% crap, for some reason you cant just get the channels you want have to get 'packages' and still has fuking ads.

agree. I used to have foxtel, when digital first came out, and I was paying about $83 a month or something. Then, last year I saw a promotion for foxtel, and it said, same channels as before, now cheaper than ever. So I thought I would ring up and see. With the new package structure, to get the exact same channels I had last time was going to cost me $109 or something per month.

It's a compelte rip off. If I want a show, i'll d/l it from the US the night its aired. I'm never ever going to pay $100+ a month to watch TV, when it has as many ad's if not more than normal TV and you still struggle to find something to watch. I'm not that addicted to TV.

I remember the good old days, when Foxtel only had ad's between program's not every 4 mins like it does now.
