I get my gear from these guys, good prices and service
http://www.camerasdirect.com.au eg Canon 5D MII $2597, But buy the best you can afford, even drop down a body eg get a 550D instead of a 60D (unless the frame rate is an issue for you), and spend the difference on quality lenses. Tim

They are a great camera and indeed a large step up to a point and shoot. Not as good as your SLR for instance 5d mk2.. But for something easy to carry its great. You can grab em in 2 variants 20m or 14 - 45mm.. On special for $770 at Camera House At the end of the day its not as sharp and crisp as a decent SLR with good lenses, however the image quality is very impressive and will not disappoint..
