Nah not really, I was only using an entry-level 600D. The glass on the front is the important bit! Pickup a few L lenses and you'll be laughing

yeah glass is coming next. I'm using a Sigma 2.8 anyway, but yeah, L will make it all a bit better I think!

Thank f**k for that! haha I was worried you were seeing something I wasn't!
Yeah I've gone for a 120-400mm f4.5-5.6 Sigma and Canon 24-70mm f2.8 L with a 50mm f1.4 prime, covers pretty much every occasion. Saying that, I'd kill for a 70-200mm f2.8L

Do you find yourself having the 24-70mm on most?

Yeah the 24-70 is my "Default" lens; it's the one that stays attached to my body in the camera bag. It's perfect for day-to-day photography but it doesn't really have the reach for most motorsports, unless you can get infield/ close to the action. The wide aperture is really useful too for night/evening work. Are you thinking of picking one up?

If only I could... I sold my Canon a few weeks ago. Looking for a replacement.
