Will upload the video, just have to edit it, 1.5hours worth so need to trim it down. But in a nutshell, next to the Ferrari museum is the pit-lane Ferrari hire store, they have about 8 Ferraris. We knocked off about 250euro off the total price with some bargaining and got the 599 and the 458 Italia.
We started with a 45 minute highway run, no speed limits (for us) just cruising down the highway at 200+. I was lucky enough to have the 599 at this point the V12 power horse. When the 'instructors' thought we were game enough to tackle the hillside we swapped and I got into the 458, and what can I say about it... The most amazing thing I have ever felt, words cant describe it. We climbed some of the mountain up to a coffee shop where Jeremy and the Top Gear boys famously stopped off in one of their episodes (Not sure which one yet.) Then the descent started, following the same route the Ferrari test track drivers take before they sign off on a car we wound down the hills as fast as we could taking it up to 9 thousand revs throwing it into corners (Traction was on 100% of course and this thing was planted like you would never imagine.) Cars actually pull over to let you past up there as they know Ferraris rein supreme. So that's it in a nutshell until I post up the video. Quote:
Don't intend to make you jealous, just food for thought if you ever go over
