Im only amateur, so take what i say with a pinch of salt

If you shoot in raw, then your camera wont apply any white balance to your image (i think) where as jpeg the camera is usually set to auto white balance, unless youve changed it.

If using photoshop to alter your files, there are numerous ways to fix white balance. One way i found recently, which seems to work quite well for me, is to adjust the levels for each individual RGB channel, and bring the white point and black point in to just where the histogram starts to rise.

But im sure someone will have a better idea?

not quite true...white balance is always set to an image regardless whether its raw or jpg. Raw editing software will let you change the white balance quite easily (simple movable tab) whilst changing the white balance in jpg is still possible (sort of) but it's much harder and requires photoshop's colour filters (warm or cold). This will only make the image slightly better and it's not a true white balance adjustment but if you only have a jpg to play with...

good job...i know how farkin hard they are to get like that if you're stationary. What was the shutter speed/focal length out of interest? And did u use mode 2 on your IS lens (if you have one)?

First one was 1/45th @ 70mm, Second was 1/30th @ 52mm, Third was 1/15th @ 24mm
All shot with the 24-70mm f/2.8L hand held no IS.
Cheers!
I must admit they didn't all turn out well

Normally I would use the 70-300 IS and have it on mode 2, but was close enough to use the 24-70 to try some wide angle shots.

yeah from the past experience not all turn out well, it's bit of a hit and miss with shutter speeds vs vehicle speed vs focal lenght.

Monopods do help a lot but i havent got one

Mode 2 on 70-20 f2.8 IS is brilliant though
