Guys, thought I'd put up a sticky for you to post any photos you wanted to share. If you want people to critique on the photo's, please say so. If a person doesn't want their photo's to be critiqued, please show some respect and keep your opinions to yourself :)
Oh and BTW, I don't think (seeing as it's in the off-topic section) the photos have to be of cars, anything you're wanting to share is fine. Looking forward to seeing some awesome photos guys! Darren |

There was a breeze that night (I was there I think) so the boats and water were moving which shows up due to the long exposure, whereas the posts and rocks are sharp/in-focus since they were stationary.

Landscape photography isn't really my thing but I do like catching sunsets when possible:
From my balcony South Perth Applecross |
Wats a good way of capturing a sunset without getting too much glare/abnormal colours?
Using a 400D with standard 18-55 lens atm. |

Or you can do a HDR (high dynamic range composite) photo. Thats two or three exposures at different settings and then blended. Google HDR photography to learn this style. |

Gumby,
I like the last underwater one because of the clarity, Under water woudl be one of the hardest topics, and unfortunately the cost of the equipment stops alot of us :( I recon you should keep working with the cat that could be interesting! on another note did anyone see the pic in the Sunday times of amanda vanstone and her dog. the expression on the dog is priceless. I think it needs a caption but thats another thread! Emil |
Here are a few pics I took with a Sony Cybershot DSC-P8. The two water scene are in Denmark, south of Perth. The forest one was from the top of Gloucester Tree, 60m+ high. Bloody awesome view up there.
