Fatboy

Spool up i cant speak for GTPUMPS turbos. but the GTPS02 Size turbo is similar to our BBK-L turbo. From the 02s that i have seen the power difference is ranging from 10kw to 30 kw at wheels. The BBK wheels are designed in house and will differ from anyone elses wheels on the market. There are other Billet wheels out there but alot of these wheels are just a copy of the original CAST wheels with no real change or testing involved.

ill see if i can get a normal every day CAST 20G wheel next to a BBK 20G wheel.. that way people will get an idea of the differences

Isn't it essentially the same size as the TD06 20G? I remember someone fitted a regular bearing version of similar size to a Lib with a TMIC and un-opened motor?

p.s - Evo X already has the maximum size turbo... no upgrades available...

No where near. You can't compare these to other turbos same size. It's like comparing a bbk-l to kando 20g. Same size spec on paper but that's as far as it goes.

LOL Jimmysan... TD05 is nothing, just need to fix your torque tables on the SST and good to go

I understand that the performance will be significantly better, but I would have thought that being the same size would mean spool time will be at the very least as good as the equivalent? Therefore I don't understand why it wouldn't be a suitable upgrade without a built motor?

I get that you won't get the most out of it without a motor you can push, but that can be said for any turbo upgrade to some extent.

p.s - Shhhh... Evo is barely run in... needs time on OEM equipment...

the EVO Xs can handle 280-300kw Stock engine.. unlike Subies.

Your turbo maxes out at about 230-250... the BBK EVO X turbo spools around 200-300rpm later and will knock on door of 280-290.. but if u have SST u need to upgrade clutch, Oil Cooler for Trans..and that in its self is a costly excercise.. specially Clutch.. around $3k
