I have an offer for $46500 to buy the car and was offered $47000 to trade.

an offer over $47000 buys the car.

what this does NOT mean is your can offer me $40000 or $45000 as clearly your not understanding what an offer over $47000 means.

I dont want to hear about what these cars trade for, I know that - the $46500 is from a Dealer so I can probably tell you more than you can tell me.

There is not a cheaper 08 STI in Australia!

setup a dodgy paypal account and see what happens.

I had a smacktard with the same sort of deal try and buy my race car. I told him I have had issues with Paypal and my account being hacked and hence now refuse to use it. If he is serious give me a call etc. Never heard another word.
