FS: GC8 RX STi Conversion
Hi all,

I have been offered a position at Uni over east, I am having to sell my 1997 Impreza RX with full ver 3 JDM STi running gear conversion to subsidise part of the cost of living over there. The Bad: Body/paintwork in average condition for it's age. Rear & rear passenger window tinting is starting to go. All of the STi goodies were professionally installed and taken from a JDM ver3 STi V-Limited halfcut by Subaru specialists S-Technic. I have receipts for the half-cut and all work done by S-Technic. Serviced at S-technic, has 80% new rubber all round- mechanically has never missed a beat. Odo: 119,XXXkm This car has been an awesome project for me, the reason I did this instead of just buying an STi was the following: -Something unique -JDM ver3 STi came with one of the most aggresive cam & tune set-up's to leave the Subaru factory for GC8's (as I have been informed). Was just repeating what I have been told,
Will remove that bit if that's actually the case. 200kgs is all in the running gear? I would of thought body & interior would of had something to do with it? |

It could be slightly lighter than a WRX STi if it doesn't have a rear spoiler, electric windows, electric mirrors, split folding rear seat etc etc.....but starting with a RX/GX/LX shell isn't neccessarily an advantage. Not trying to spam your for sale advert, just trying to clear up a misconception before everyone wants a RX conversion to save 200 kegs!
