For sale is a Genuine 1990 Legacy RS type R.
This is one of only five lightweight cars sold new by Subaru Australia for motorsport. It has competition history back to the 1991 Australian Rally Championship with David Eadie. This car was once owned and driven by Rob Herridge (although it is not his championship winning RS-R)



The car has extensive strengthening & lightweighting including a fully certified, welded in CrMo roll cage, tower to tower with crossover in the front & rear bulkheads, "Carlos" bars, crossover intrusions, crossover in the roof, diff mount point etc. To replicate this cage today would cost over $10K alone.
The car is suitable for Targa west.
Autronic ECU with anitilag, rotational idle, data logging etc. Tuned by Lane.
Close ratio RA gearbox with 20Kg/m centre coupling.
Plate LSD rear diff.
Currently has tarmac set up with pink STi struts, gravel suspension also available @ extra $ if required.
