4xToyo 888 R-Comp tyres for sale. Size is 215/45/17. Approx 1/3 worn so have heaps of life left in them. Ideally suited to the MY01-MY07 WRX.

I bought these late last year from PWRX member Broomy as I already had a set and figured I would just fit them when I eventually wore them out. Since then we have upgraded to an STI so they aren’t an ideal fit due to the wider STI rim.

These tyres are ideal for anyone who wants to take their WRX out to AHG, Kwinana, Barbagallo etc and don’t want to destroy their road tyres. They also generate more grip than a normal road tyre and are nicer to drive on. The 888 has a symmetrical tread pattern so the tyre can be swapped on the rim to ensure that they wear evenly and you get the maximum use from them.

$600 firm. I’ve never used them so I’m selling them for the price I paid.

(Note that new Toyo 888’s normally retail for approx $400+ each).
