From memory the upgraded chip is around $100. Unplug old and plug in the new.
Can get the knockboard for about $700 also.

Yeah it costs fark all to upgrade.
Mine has 1.06 and Steve at MMS said this is absolutely fine and no real need to upgrade but anything lower would need upgrading.
