MY02 Sti ECU - (EcuTek'd)
Fellow modifiers...
As the title suggests, I no longer have use for this item, so am keen to move it onto someone who may get some use out of it. It is suitable for MY02's Sti's... other cars at your own peril, Ill elaborate. (To the best of my knowledge...) * It will not work with WRX, as WRX doesnt have inlet AVCS. * It will not work with peanut's as the pin-outs and config are different. (Going off information received from MMS). * It currently has a 'type-1' tune on it... (exhaust, boost set to 17psi, etc). This can be upgraded to Type-2 or 3, depending on your level of modifications. * It will need an EcuTek dealer (MMS, RT or enquire with Stech) to re-program the 'immobiliser codes' or something in it. (I'm not the expert on this, just going by what I've been told). However, do this, snappy couple of hours on dyno, get everything running just right... and it will put a smile on your dial! Whilst removing the doughey torque hole from standard below 4k. Makes car much more driveable. Cheap way into an 'aftermarket' ECU... (of sorts). This ECU was perfect when it came out of my car, prior to me going Motec. 500 please. (MMS will set you back 1500, RT 1650 for another week... then 2k again). Brent.
