Hey guys,

i recently purchased an sti shortblock with forged pistons, rods and balanced crank. Once installed on the car we found that it low compression and we have since guestimated (from another customer that has pulled the engine apart with the same symptoms)

that the the engine builder might have overbored the block but put in standard size pistons and thus the engine cant hold boost.

Im looking at another short block and thus wanting to see wot interest is in this one.

A basic shortblock retails for around $3500
forged pistons $900
rods $650

It also has an ARP headstud kit $300

Im looking at realistic offers of around $2500 ono as new the same package is in the order of $5300.
