I don't know what colour they light up, I never got around to installing them.
If I hadn't just finished putting them all back in the boxes I could plug them in and try them. |

doesn't it say on the box what colour they are? Or can't you grab the serial part number and link it to a colour...

Remove the intercooler, drill and tap your dump pipe and screw in the BSP adapter collar and lock the probe in.
Cut a section from your top radiator hose and install the (supplied) adapter sleeve with a clamp either side. Mount the pressure sensor next to the OE one on the strut tower and run a vacuum line to the manifold. Run the extension leads from all 3 sensors through the firewall grommet into the cabin, up behind the stereo and into the Defi link controller. Run the power cables and the single guage wire up behind the stereo, unclip the clock and pull the wires up there. Scotchlock onto the clock plug 12v Batt+, Earth and instrument illumination and Ign 12v from the back of the hazard light switch. Plug the first guage in and 'daisy chain' the rest to each other. (they're clever enough to work out which one is what all by themselves) Stick the pod down with DS tape. Sit back and admire! (I reckon they are white) Matt, How am I going to separate? they all need the Defi link to work I assume? Better to keep them as a set I reckon. |

Do I want to? no.
Will I if someone twists my arm.....yes, reluctantly. Guage installation, is like car stereo installation, no one expects to pay for the amount of time it takes to do it properly when they perceive it to be a DIY type of job. It would take at least 4 hours to do a nice job of it. If someone would like to DIY I can do the only technical part (drill and tap the dump pipe) and they can carry out the rest themselves. |
