Have an AEM CAI to suit 08-14 WRX/STI. Is brand new, purchased about 2 weeks ago, didn't suit my application. I have resprayed the red intake pipe black.

Had a couple of requests for a picture so have placed in original post.

As for the not suiting, it was being placed on at 2010 XT Forester which has a Cobb SF intake on it, car went in for install and to be tuned and didn't run well, so Cobb was placed back on, was told the issue at the time, somthing to do with MAF scaling but cannot recall exactly. Car had previously been tried with a Process West CAI which did not work either. Have seen many wrx/sti's with both style of intake so the problem lies in the car and not the intake.

Yep, same deal with my car... seen a few 08's with CAI yet Sean couldn't get my car to scale. Spud.
