As per title, I have for sale a brand new molded dash mat for GC8.

Reason for sale; I'd forgotten I'd already bought one nearly a year ago but forgotten and hadn't as yet fitted the 1st one.... old age creeping in I think. This item is suited to late GC8 and is for airbag models with the top glove lid, but will still fit non-airbag models.

Cost was $51.00. Sell for $25.00 + post, unless you live in or near Bunbury.

When you put it on, doublesided tape is crap to hold it on. It will still come loose when you arc it off the lights. There is a trick to screw it down to the narrow bit of plastic right at the base of the windscreen. yes... pull that bit of plastic out (yank it) and put a screw through each end of the dash mat into that plastic. Then pop the plastic back in... dash mat will move no more. Thank me later.

Thanks for the input Fobz ... not a bad idea actually... it is actually held by stick-on hook and loop (Velcro) and for the 10 years or thereabouts I had one on my previous GC8, there were no issues with the mat coming loose. Probably coz the car was always parked under cover and the glue side on both the mat and dash top didn't deteriorate... it held in place quite nicely.

Anyways, the buyer will sort it out I'm sure.
