Take the car for a second opinion at a local workshop and go from there. I personally use stechnic and am very happy, but most of the shops found in the thread below have a reputation for good work....

Agreed the initial outlay isn't brutal, but...
Agreed the initial outlay isn't brutal, but ongoing costs look like they add up, like tyres and brakes, etc.
