The 550D is almost the same specs but a lot...

The 550D is almost the same specs but a lot cheaper, then if you find you love photography spend money on lenses and upgrade to a better camera body in a few years.

The only catch is there's different versions of...

The only catch is there's different versions of the 1D, 5D etc, so you have to watch for that also.

I have taken some ripper photos with a point and shoot, some times it's better to keep it...

Nice one! For others that are reading this thread looking as DSLRs I bought a 550D for my daughter last week, similar specs than the 60D but not as quick so less suitable for the automotive...
