The big factor is cost and market placement. Add a turbo and you compete with other cars in the market. More power, bigger brakes all adds top the bottom line and then it looses that competitive...

It really sounds like Subaru have a marketing issue with the BRZ. Not AWD and sold against a strong Toyota fanbase. If they are not committed to it then they may as well forget it.

Interesting comments about 4WD and turbo on pg 95.

I'm sure it won't take long for someone to drop a turbo in there. Especially considering the claims of TRD doing the S/C option.
