Sounds like the same issue i had and mine was the wheel bearing. Best to get it checked straight away. I waited awhile and the wheel ended up destroying my abs sensor. So cost more to fix in the end....

Breaking Heavy or feathering them doesnt seem to change any noises. Tried different types of breaking and cornering to spot the direct problem but no noises came up.
Also the noise only starts...

At low speeds it did start to make a grind noise, but made a squeaking noise when driving along. What Nauli said sounds about right. Maybe while driving its hitting the brake pads because of the hub...
