changing to a smaller housing on the VF34 gives you the added benifit of the rollerbearing centre cartridge, meaning it will spool even earlier then a VF35.

a vf34 on an auto with FMIC, id say it'd be laggy...

a vf34 on an auto with FMIC, id say it'd be laggy and unresponsive, ideally get a p15 housing and slap that on the back of the vf34 (making it a semi vf35) that way you get the benifit of the vf34...
