yes mine is a bit right of centre too but you should be able to look at and see that its going to stop the cylinder movement.

that should be fine, mine sits a bit of centre but the cap provided covers plenty of the cylinder.

placebo effect perhaps? I installed the cusco brake stopper at the same time I upgraded my pads and fluid and felt like there was some improvement in pedal feel and I am running brembos.
