Great job done by the RallySprint officials and time keepers. They've really nailed the running of these events and there's rarely a pause in proceedings unless somebody bins it.

They can do, but I tend to brake much earlier for the corners with the concrete at the end. :)

Concrete barriers are used where protection is needed for what lies on the other side.
