Mark: Not sure mate just borrowed my friend's Go Pro Hero 1 for the night....

I'm actually in the market for my own camera and have been doing my research...I had decided on a Drift HD but after seeing your videos i will most likely get a Drift HD Ghost or Go Pro Black for the low light performance.

Be interesting to see what your night time in car looks like...could just push me to get the black.

Did his brakes just give up?

X-rays for Ash this morning revealed a fractured sternum, but apparently it just feels a little sore. Otherwise she is ok.

They both agree on an estimated impact speed of around 60km/h – enough to push the barrier a good 4 meters out of place (see attached pic). Airbags deployed obviously, but neither of their heads hit them.

I'm gutted for Liam – he's such a nice guy and was looking forward to doing more motorsport and improving the car
The best way to look at it is that despite a pretty decent knock they are ok!

Was a shame to see the car wrecked like that, but again, best result is that no-one got seriously hurt.

On a personal note, my first time down at a Rallysprint event was an absolute corker! co-drove in the orange sprinter and was flabbergasted at how good a driver Duane is and what he and the car are capable of doing! Such a great insight into a top driver/car combo, through the chicanes especially it was truly epic! He finished top in the 2wd under-2L class and top-20 outright, so a pretty damn good intro into the sport for me already looking forward to the next event, and even though I'll only be spectating I'm sure it will still give me a buzz

In low light conditions, GoPro Black > Drift Ghost

The single biggest factor for me when choosing a new camera was it's performance at night. The only camera that possibly works better in the dark is the Sony Action Cam. It's also cheaper but it fails in so many other aspects that it wasn't a consideration in the end.

Concrete wins again (which is unfortunate).

I've said this before, but, Again, surley some Coates Hire "Plastic" barriers could have done the same job, with much less impact to vehicles....

If in-deed it was a brake issue, then they did need something to help pull them up, but for the guys that get a corner ever so slightly wrong, plastic > Concrete everyday of the week.

This has been debated before & concrete wins everytime. In case you missed the previous debate is was something like this:

* drive to your limits
* don't push yourself
* drive like a pussy
* if you make a mistake, suck it loser
* if something breaks, sucked in
* grass is more important to protect than your head, neck, car
* blah, blah, blah...

Plastic barriers and bollards are used where appropriate.

Concrete barriers are used where protection is needed for what lies on the other side.
