The MAC Valve is a BCS. MAC being the brand, BCS...

The MAC Valve is a BCS. MAC being the brand, BCS being a boost control solenoid :)
Companies like Grimmspeed just rebadge a MAC valve but even though they tend to cost a bit more have a more OEM...

Only MY01 and MY02 WRX had the cat in the up-pipe...

Only MY01 and MY02 WRX had the cat in the up-pipe from memory.
Bringing boost on earlier with better boost control (mac valve BCS etc) and/or an upgraded actuator makes a huge difference

MY02 STI and MY03 WRX were the first years AVCS...
