Default Where to go from here - further mods?

Hey guys,

Since Joining and introducing myself to pwrx in 2010 I've kinda just sat back and read what I thought was relevant to me, now after some modding etc I'd like to get a little bit more proactive on here and take advantage of the experience and wealth of knowledge you guys have.

My question is where do I go from here? I have a gdb wrx which thanks to Terry (spike or spikey) now has: walbro fuel pump, STi injectors, STi tmic, tbe and a vf34/hybrid turbo (need to clarify with Terry) which has also been Verso tuned (thanks ASG). My car is making 240hp and 315nm atw. At the moment full boost is achieved at 4000rpm. Ideally I'd like to try and increase the response of the old girl by either increasing torque (dramatically, or is this misguided?) or by simply decreasing the turbo lag (is it at all possible to have a vf34 achieve full boost at about 3000-3500rpm?). I've heard all sorts of seemingly complicated processes to decrease lag such as ceramic coating parts, tune the car to run a bit drier etc etc but what's everyone's opinion on the matter?

Next is the magic 200-220kw mark. Short of trading in for an STi/evo, buying a 207, or reinforcing the engine is there anything else that I can investigate to help boost response mainly and increase power secondly. ASG have suggested upgraded headers what's everyone's opinion on headers? Are headers a (cost) effective way to squeeze out a little more power?

Lastly, we all make mistakes some worse than others....is it at all possible to have a mod or forum admin change my god forsaken username at all? Despite what it sounds like I don't bat for the other team so please stop sending "requests"

Finally just a quick (but huge) thank you to people like Terry (spike/y), Pete from carline mufflers, Matt (jester), Kym (Impreziv), Joe (balistc) and many many others - you're all extremely friendly, helpful and your experience and advise has been extremely appreciate. Cheers

Headers will give you more torque, which will be useful in combating the lag.

I'm running similar mods to yours and getting around 200kw on the Allstar dyno. Check my driveway thread if you want more info.

Cheers bird, That's exactly the sort of response and ball park power that I'm after. What boost has your car been tuned to/ how have you managed to get such good response from the vf34?!

I'd be asking ASG why you are only making 240hp with that combo. Should be more like ~270-280hp. Something is limiting the output.

Also, plenty of us have run big boost through a EJ205, so don't be scared!
