i dont think you could do that very easily - its a bad shape for it, and also the little arm thing for the wastegate needs to be unobstructed.

but its definatly worth getting ceramic coated or...

If you have NOTHING, then you're going to start...

If you have NOTHING, then you're going to start to melt your brake booster and whatever else is around :)

ceramic coats can crack, so coat and warp is the best option.
