Honestly I am not drawn in to seeing this at all...read the reviews and watched the trailers and I can only muster a 'Meh' for it. I think I am over the amount of CGI making its way in to films.

Were they trying to make this look real or just purposely fake 3d cgi style? coz none of it looks real at all, looks more like a pixxar movie. If their intention ws 3d cgi then thats ok, would of preferred them to make it look real but and not overdo the cgi

Sorry, but they remind me too much of Jar Jar Binks

I am keen to see the movie. But i HATE 3D movies. So this makes it hard for me to want to go & watch it. Hoping you can watch it without 3D.

Yeah there is the non-3d version.

Given the 'hype', I am expecting a lot of fail in this movie TBH.

I didn't rate the first few previews I saw of this, but I then watched the full length preview in the cinema and thought it looked to be a pretty awesome idea!

That said, I kind of agree with John, with such a big build up, it could quite easily be rubbish!

Lots of top critics have said that the hype of is matched with the special effects as well as story.

Personally i love movies with and without cgi. i can watch a movie with cgi and experience near realism of scenes not possible without it and i like that. i also like movies without cgi. at the end of the day its there to entertain me.

this movie is meant for 3d but if you dont like it theres other options.

i will let you all know when i see it on imax 3d this friday night.

People need to go into cinemas and treat the movie for exactly what it is... a visual treat of special effects. If you go in hoping for a fantastic plot and "realism" then the only fail is within that of the viewer in my opinion.

If you want thought provoking storylines and realism, go to LUNA and watch some quirky world cinema.

The people who bag this movie out will be the same who bag Transformers for having no plot. *duh*

Is that the one in Karussell?
*cough - cars and Nurburgring on the brain*

I meant Carousel. Wouldn't mind catching it there some time if they have an imax screen
