will the +42 offset fit straight onto a gc8 or will i need to change anything for the to fit??

Not sure as the last lot were all installed on MY01-07's. I think they can go on with some camber - maybe guard rolling at the worst.

need pics of gc8 with these rims they look hot, just yeah.. guard clearences and rolling issues probably will apply.

how far out does the +42 sit as i'm new to the offsets on Subaru's etc.

i'm after a set for an '06 STI

Yep all good on the 06 sti - very good fit no need for guard rolling or anything...see first picture

+42 would be fine, i don't think you'd even need to roll guards on stock suspension with an '06.
your stock wheels are +53, so 11mm more on the inside and 11mm more on the outside (basically moves your wheel 11mm further away from the hub).
Perfect mid-aggressive offset for the 05-07 STi, imo.

also, the first picture posted by Ultrex, is an 06/07 STi, if you need any more proof.

It's an 06/07 but is it an STi as it has red 4 pots on it ????
