Im sure this has been discussed before!.

I would say "yes" you will need a tune, Mainly because you got all this "new" air coming in, and it would play with the mixture settings causing rough idle.

Have you got the exhaust done yet? My advise, to get all breathing and exhaust done before you go in for a tune.

I ran a CAI and Silicone turbo inlet & Y-pipe on my 06 for a while without a tune while I saved up for an exhaust system with no dramas.....the factory tune runs super rich eg. low 10:1; so should still be safe but I wouldn't go driving it too hard in the mean time.

wait until you have all your bits and pieces, put them on at the same time then get the tune. saves spending money on retuning after every mod

If you are going for a tune with ASG/Verso, why not phone them up and tell them of your modding plans? They might be able to point out things that are going to cause you problems in the future.

Personally I like to discuss the direction of my car with my tuner before wasting money on unnecessary mods.

You won't need a retune if you get the 65mm APS CAI .. the 70mm probably will though.

PS, i see you driving around all the time - I'm in Canningtonio
