Does anyone know how hard/what is required to get the MY01/02 STi Headlaps to work on a WRX?

I know there are two types of STi 01/01 Headlamps - The HIDs and the Projectors.

As far as i am aware, the Aus Spec 01/02 STi's were fitted with Projectors from factory. I am a noob when it comes to these headlights, but they look nice and i am considering getting a set for my 01.

Do the Projectors still take normal bulbs? If so .. which ones?

Obviously the design of this headlamp will fit right into a WRX model no worries, but what about the wiring? What is a ballast? ..

Hopefully someone can tell me exactly what is necessary to get this mod working ..
