Default STi Center Console Lever - Small plastic piece

The center console, between the two seats behind the hand brake lifts is held in place by a small plastic lever handle.

This is a different model car, but the part I`m talking about holds the compartment at the right hand side in place.
Its a little switch which you pull up with you hand so that you can open that compartment.

Ok, now you know what I`m talking about. Due to an unfortunate accident involving my tie, I need a replacement of that part.

Specifically for a GC8 1998 Wrx STi.

Subaru was no use, they simply put me onto the wreckers who charge an arm and a leg for a 50 cent piece of plastic.

Does anyone have any STi parts laying around? maybe even a shell, where they could pull this bit out for me?
Much appreciated.

STi part is the same as a WRX part, so you might have an easier time trying to find that part if you keep that in mind..
