You can get the original shifter modified to give a shorter throw if your after a cheaper option.

How would one go about doing this?

How comparable is the feel of this option when compared to buying a new one?

I got the guys at Maximum Motorsport to do mine, they just redrilled a new hole in the lever which decreased the throw length.

I'd say it would be pretty comparable to buying aftermarket.

What did they charge you for that?

Trying to get an idea of if it's worth spending the extra coin or not...

they will prob tell you 200 and then say they got shafted by the company that supplies their drill bits and after finishing the job tell you the new price is 310!
We have never had anything like that happen at mms before ah??? :P
