Default 3" Exhaust Resonators (hotdogs)

need a few of these to make my exhaust legal...

also just a quick question...is there a cat converter in the stock catback exhaust of a my00.

thanks any help appreciated.

well no there isnt in the cat back system as its only from behind the cat
the cat is the bit just before the cat back part

in a a full stock my00 exhaust there is a cat

they really do sfa in reducing noise to an appreciable level... u may have to get another muffler installed. That was wot i found anyway..

not true
the hotdog i had on the wagon dropped the db level by 3-4 dbA
you want to locate it at the right point

having a "live" cat will also help with the noise level

Putting in a resonator wont do much except reduce drone in the cabin, wont change the note a great deal in regards to 'loudness'.

Change your muffler to an oval muffler design if you want something quieter.
