I have done the gearbox in my MY00 99 Wrx, will need new one. Also interested in upgrading the engine to an Sti but will also need gearbox.. Depends on price.. Been quoted $9500 for Sti 6spd & Sti engine.. Ludicrous.. However will definitely need gearbox. Any recommendations for somewhere to go also appreciated.

Yeah, $9500 for a complete STi long motor and 6 speed box with all the bits to get it going, is about as good as you're going to get anywhere in Perth.

I have a STI 6 speed gearbox for sale.

My04 Jap Spec Close ratio with DCCD and suretrac front LSD. Comes with some extras for install. PM Me.

If you end up with a 6 speed let me know how much you want for your old gearbox. I want to build a nice 5 speed for dutton etc and keep my other one for targa cause that has to be standard.

Im getting the gearbox replaced & the clutch over $3k job.. Getting done tomorrow. Does that seem like a rip off for a GC8? sucks!!

what did you get it replaced with, ie gearbox model, ks done, type of clutch, etc?

new diff, gear box & clutch. All good condition and i am yet to confirm how many K's (Stupid i know) Gearbox & diff from Japanese Wholesalers & Clutch from somewhere in redcliff. $3800 all parts fitted.. Thoughts?
