Default Rear brake pad shims

Hi everyone,

Chasing a set of shims off a set of rear brake pads....you know the ones, the metal shim or plate that goes behind the brake pads?

To suit MY01 onwards 2 pots. GC8 ones will not fit. They need to be the original Subaru ones, not the ones that come with aftermarket pads.

If you've got an old set of rear pads kicking around, I just want the shims...will swap for bread or something similar.

Thanks

Yeah those are the ones I'm talking about....might have to give them a bell!

The reason I need them, is because my rear brake pads drag on the discs when the car is rolling. I'm told its because the stock backing plates actually pull the pad away from the rotor slightly when the brakes aren't being used, and without them, this problem can occur.
