Be very careful mate, i know that reverse scoops can be seen as a defect.

Yeah because it doesnt face backwards and doesnt allow oil explosions to end up on your windscreen aparently

If you have a FMIC the reverse scoop will allow the heat from the turbo and engine bay to exit the bonnet more efficiently then the front facing scoop.

As there is no TMIC there is no need for the front facing scoop.

yeh I know...exactly why I want the reverse mount.as it will be practicle..

Oil explosions..mmm..looks like I might just have to go with what looks better..any idea Sphoolin or anyone where I can get the legal info about it all?

Im almost certain that it CAN be illegal. But in all reality.....keep your normal scoop......and switch em round if its a problem.
