Anyone know where Ican get some well priced half wine barrels locally? I've been told Xanadu in margs do them for $50 for two halves, but don't really want to head all the way down there for them.

Oh, and not the cheap imitation shitty ones bunnings sell.

nik (the protest) might be able to help you from grove winery but you'll have to also pick them up from margs

have you asked any of the wineries in the valley?

Not as yet, if Xanadu is cheapest, I'll probably just make a weekend of it!!

If you had asked a month ago, we have about 10 or 12 you could've had for free - All in the tip now!

Check the Swan Valley wineries, or look in the quokka, there's always a wog selling old barrels he used for backyard winemaking.

Josh, head down Casuarina Drive, Chuck a handbrakey into the driveway on the corner of Casuarina and tamerisk It is a corner block with a yellowish picket fence around the joint, they always have a for sale sign on wine barrels there (it is not up today, first time ever!) but go and knock on the door, I am sure they will have some.

I think it is 72 Casuarina Drive

Soils aint Soils in Busselton also stock proper wine barrels... not sure on price.
