Default WTD: 125cc Dirt Bike

On the look out for an 01+ Dirt Bike to get out there and learn on.

Interested in a RM125, CR125 or YZ125

Currently allowing a budget of UP to 2.5k - minor faults ok

Let me know what you may have

Worst Advice ever. He didn't say he was looking to learn how be replace shitty busted parts every time he rides it.

I'd say CR125 is the way to go. In my opinion, they're the better of the jap 125's.
98-00 models with good historys and rebuild receipts can be picked up for 2-2.5k.
Dont go earlier than 98 with a CR though. Massive frame changes in 98. Prior to that they were still running steel tube frames. Longer swing arm and bigger back rim also came on the 98+ model. Very similar (if not identical) engines, but the 98+ bike is just much more modern in every other way.

A mate of mine will be helping me out with the bike/riding. Ex-Aus champ and knows these bikes inside out. Still chasing a quality make.

By learning - i mean geting a club membership and getting some track time in. Not pines runs.
