Default B4 Mcintosh Sub

Does anyone happen to have the original B4 sub when they upgraded to a aftermarket sound system? I'm not quite ready to swap out all the stuff just yet.

I was just driving to my gf's house just then and i noticed a burnt plastic smell or something along those lines. I thought it might have been the roadworks so i wound up my windows, and I noticed my music had gotten softer. I had a quick look at it, it sort of feels like the sub is still pumping, but there is not much bass and it just distorts

Let me know if u have anything.

Cheers
Colin

I just had another look at it, and it seems to be working, but only softly... would it be likely to be the sub or the amp? Because all the other speakers are working fine. Do they run through the amp too? I'll probably have to borrow my mate's multimeter to check it first.

But what sort of figure did you have in mind mattims?

Cheers

6 pack of bundy & coke? $20 bucks should do it.

I have the amp .. also doing nothing if you find thats the problem, that one you could take for $50 just cause its under the seat and harder to pull out.

That sound pretty fair. I might have to hit you up sometime down the track. I'll figure out which one it is first. Cheers!
BTW, any idea how to pull it out/ put it in? I have a feeling I'll have to take most of the rear interior to get to it..
