Default Got $12,500 Cash, Want Something...

I've just missed a '98 wrx and phizzle's '99 wrx (not that I was probably going to get it anyway). So now I'm asking you guys. I have $12,500 cash sitting in front of me. My old '97 impreza rx just got written off by insurance because of some stupid storm...

I want something that is manual, awd, a little turbo (at least, so I can do something with it later - worst case), maybe around the '99 mark. Not stupidly old - been there done that, can't be arsed spending a fortune keeping an old car running.

Anywho, you guys are the ones to speak to. There are a few here for just over what I have. Tempted to try and get them down a few notches but I don't want to be an arsehole.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Cheers.

Check out these ones on carsales, if you don't mind slightly high kms if you're after a wrx.

The second one is actually listed here, I'm sure you'ld get the perth-wrx member discount :P

Cheers for that.
I have has my eye on the white one, although I can't understand the price being so low, or is that reasonable?

Hey Dan, sorry to bust your bubble, but the guy who bought mine has been in love with it (well the straight cuts at least) since he took it for a drive 2 Sundays ago. If he had fallen through I dare say you'd be using a tank of fuel right now instead of starting this thread. Jim621's car looks like it has some potential, as does Elrico's and Joey89's
Cheers, Phil

Thanks for the replies everyone. This community is fantastic. I put down a deposit on a my00 wrx today. Really good condition. Seems like a good deal so here's to hoping all goes well. But yeah some sweet cars 'round here I wish I could've afforded.
Thanks again. Hopefully I might see you guys around when I finally have some money to start making this wrx go faster =D.

Cheers guys.
