hey guys looking for an sti top mount that i can replace my old intercooler with, if anyone has one lying around send me pm =)

You probably should clarify the "sti top mount" part at the STI intercooler
as on the 99 it was not any bigger than the WRX, just silver instead of black.
So are you wanting STI to go bigger or simply go silver ?
If you're looking for something like an 02 STI cooler (which is much bigger)
then you should specify it.

bit of mucking around to fit bugeye onwards sti tmic to a gc8, which is good to bear in mind, another cheaper and easier upgrade is a bugeye onwards wrx tmic obviously not as big as the sti tmic but bigger than the stock 99 tmic

Quite a few members running the bigger GD top mount
on the GC8's, there are a few little modifications that
need to be done in order for them to fit but it's not really
a big issue.

Get a GD SPEC C top mount for good measure.

if you get the brackets your laughing, loosen & rotate the clutch res towards the firewall, aftermarket bov's will be a pain unless you relocate the coilpack and inch forward, but yeah its do-able

its almost as much work to fit the wrx one as it is the STI, and the STI is a much better upgrade. that said, the wrx cooler can be had for as little $50
