New to this forum. I'll do the introduction and post my car at a later date when I get time. Desperate for some new headlights for the MY02 WRX of mine. Sick of the bug-eye. I bought it in the hope that it would grow on me but it hasn't. So the search has begun for a face lift...

I know Morette shut its doors a few years ago and the headlights are now as rare as rocking horse s**t but if anyone has some stashed away in the basement, or on a car that is about to be sold, then PM me for the love of god! Top dollar will be paid!

Furthermore rumour has it that a Qld. company sold some similar items that a few people have kicking around as well. Let me know if you or friends are willing to part with them.

Im going to stalk eBay from now until eternity until I find some of these headlights.

Wont find many laying around here mate... try eBay (for genuines and even fakers) or Jap websites.. Most of the guys here do the ADM or JDM STI headlight conversion as it looks the ducks nuts, and keeps it looking all stock-ish. Personally not a fan of the morette's but each to their own!

there's a couple of threads that list sources for morettes, genuine ones are really hard to find as you seem to know.

lots of ebay cheapeys out there so if you want genuine, be careful.

i was looking for a pair a while ago and found the best way was to google them, and just look through every page, i came across 3 stores which still sell genuine's but they are quite pricey.
i can't remember the links or names, but there are some online stores which still sell them.

Thanks for the advice guys. I am looking at the JDM STI HID's but I really like the look of the Morettes. I have been searching high and low for weeks on Google, Yahoo, NASIOC, IWSTI, eBay etc.

Jordiee --> If you can throw me some fancy search techniques to find those stores I would much appreciate it. I'm no noob on the old world-wide-wait but you could obviously find stuff I couldn't.

JDM STYLE --> Already priced up a front end swap. Cheaper to sell and just buy a 03+... hmmmmm tempting

i agree with most guys before about the JDM styling
personally dont like the morette's but each to their own.
