I have one too.

you may be able to reset the one you have, this is a common problem and can usually be reset.

How do you reset it?

Smashing it with a screwdriver handle doesn't work

turn car on, hold switch down to fully open window, then hold switch up until window closes & continue to hold switch in the up postition for 10 seconds

found this on a honda forum, chances are it might be the same being a jap car?
