Apparently the drivers side bracket doesn't bolt on in the same way as previous TMIC's, so it needs to be modified.. better off modifying your existing bracket or making a custom one.

For my 08 TMIC install, I'm going to use my original GD bracket and then just make an extension piece out of a piece of aluminium flat bar that bolts onto the original bracket and the TMIC.

I'm not sure the the other end of the add on bracket would lineup with anything on the earlier inlet manifold.

would the hassel be worth putting on a 08 TMIC or just stick with the GD direct bolt on STI spec C?

It's not too hard.

The good thing about the Spec C TMIC is, you can at least buy a splitter to suit.. with the 08 one, you need to make a custom one or modify your existing one.

Not to mention the brackets bolt straight on.

Either way, you'll need the bigger scoop too if you're not already running it.

Apparently there is some info floating around on here with pics and
the 08 is 30% bigger but there is no flow data though.

I'm pretty sure the GRB STi's that have water spray set up only have
one nozzle, my 06 has one spray nozzle and works well as it covers the
whole top of the TMIC so I don't see the need for anymore.
