I need to get a crossover done, is approx 20sqm. Needs to have 100mm roadbase before pavers can go down, so would prefer someone who will do the whole lot. Job is SOR

for starters, don't worry about the 100mm base course, its not needed for a crossover. It's not like you have trucks driving up and down it. The regular family car wont sink the pavers as long as you compact it properly... and make sure you concrete the edges in.

You can get a rebate from the local concil of around $400 if you build it to their specs (but I'm guessing you've already seen that, if your mentioning the 100mm base course) but they don't come check that, so I wouldn't worry about it, they just drive past and check out that you've made it 6m wide and put the 45degree corners on it

haha, i wish i had the same luck with that. striling wanted me to provide either a core sample of the ground or a invoice for the road base. i said fuck you to them

put it this way... your entitled to about $400 rebate. The base course costs about $500 to do.. so if they don't give it to you becauese you didn't do it, you can tell them to shove it anyway, coz you are $100 infront.
