Sounds like you're at that frustration stage where shit just doesn't seem to be going right with it.

Have you tried getting one of the recommended workshops to inspect it and see if its just a bunch of numerous small problems, or your set on another block/motor?

Im going to call mms tomorrow and seenifni can get it in this week but i dont like my chances... Im hoping it is small problema that can be fixed because at times it drives awsome and i love it...

Just seeing what the average price is these days for new engines and used engines with low km's...

At times its like its dead though, like drives fine then ill boost high and then putting my foot down it feels as if the turbo is bunny hopping because it will only go to like 2 psi so i pull over to inspect... Car is idling at 200 rpm boost gauge is sitting at 8 vaccum so i turn car off, sit for 5 turn back on and wammo, its perfect again

sounds like an engine management issue, maybe air flow meter, or a misfire

Your AFM wiring connector being broken is more than likely your problem. I would bet that it is causing intermittent contact so is causing the intermittent problem.
I may well have one sitting in the shed here. Will have a look in a little while if you like.

A misfire is, as the word suggests, incomplete or non combustion of the air/fuel mixture. Poor acceleration, surging, shuddering at idle, and after burning in the exhaust (backfiring) are symptoms. Although, if the connector at the AFM is broken, that may be the most likely cause.
Rectify that first.

Had a look. The plug I have looks the same but not quite right. Tried it on my spare 98 AFM and it will go on if forced but not right...
