What's the differ between these and a normal Subaru ones?

I've got some Cusco high pressure 1.3bar radiator caps coming very soon if one of those will help you.

It's not so much about pressure, but for some reason mine isn't sealing properly with the standard cap resulting in all the coolant being forced into the overflow tank instead of staying in the main system. The rubber seal on the cap doesn't extend deep enough into the neck of the radiator to form a seal.

Have you tried taking it to a radiator shop and seeing what they can do?

Problem is getting it there. But i've just been to the koyorad distributors who have given me a different cap to try so fingers crossed it works.

Got it sorted. After taking it to 2 different radiator places and having them both scratch their heads not knowing what was going on with the radiator/cap issue, I was flicking through the workshop manual looking in the cooling section for any clues and one phrase kept being used repeatedly which was "Be sure not to mix up the radiator cap with the filler cap". So I checked both caps and sure enough the seal part on the round one was about 10mm longer than the oval shaped one and after swapping them over it hasn't gone over 90 degrees since.

So as lame as it makes me feel I'll still own up and admit that it was me that stuffed up with this.
