Injectors. Get some pinks... Dremel, chop tops. 10 mins.
Take to United Fuel Injection, get them to flow/bench test, (50 bucks, theyll test to about 45-50psi... static rail pressure), new strainer baskets, seal kits from Covs, all DIY. Walbro drop in tank pump. 20 mins. 140 bucks. TMIC - as you said, GD Sti or PW will more than suffice for your power level. VF34 - Sigh... if you must. Remember, the GC boys get more of a rush out of these things, as GC lighter than GD. Headers. I would say yes. The mid range torque and raspy note is more than enough reason why. And consider theyre cheap, may as well. (Get them jet coated). I cant remember the rest for now. Brent. :) |
You don't even need pink injectors if you wanna chop, just chop your stock injectors.. they flow the same :D
|
Are you still looking at changing your dump pipe? If so why not spend a little extra and go TS, VF36/37, TS Headers (same price as SS ones), TS Bracket & Dump, Oil pan kit and happy times with enough power and torque to keep you satisfied (for now).
Just a suggestion. :D |
Waynes idea might cost a little more, but will get you alot more torque down low.
Probably your best option. |
walbro fuel pump... CHECK! :D

For the price, I would say go STI all the way, PW are way overpriced. D Doesn't decapping give a big variation in flow rates? I was told by a fellow that he went through 3 sets of decapped injector's to get a set of 4 with similar flow rates. Just what I was told |
